I’ve never understood why girls tell you not to care about opinions of the people you don’t like, but yet they complain about how they look, as they think they appear ugly to everyone, and none of the boys they know think they’re pretty. First off, if someone honestly thinks you are ugly, then they are not your friend, they’re not, and so you shouldn’t care what they say. Also, if a boy doesn’t find you pretty then he’s not the guy for you. If he can honestly look at you and judge you because ‘you aren’t pretty enough for him’ then honestly just stuff him, because he’s not damned good enough for you, you shouldn’t care how you look for him because he isn’t worth even putting on makeup for. You might complain that no one will ever find you pretty, but first off, someone will, someone always does. Second off, if no one finds you pretty then no one is worth going out with. Third off, complaining wont change anything, I’m sorry but it wont.

I’m giving up saying I’m ugly, not for lent, but I’m going to try not to say it again. Looks are an opinion, and saying ‘I am ugly’ is like defining something that you can’t define, you can’t make a fact out of an opinion. So I may have days where I don’t feel I look nice, but so does everyone, and there will always be someone who thinks you look lovely, and that’s because you do look lovely.
